Travis Banet joined the SUL4R-PLUS team in December 2024 as Manager of Research and Development. Travis earned his Ph.D. in Integrated Plant and Soil Sciences from the University of Kentucky in 2024. Prior to that, he attained a Master of Science in Soil and Crop Science from Colorado State University and a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences from Purdue University. Throughout his academic career, he authored several research papers on studies related to agroecosystem nutrient cycling, crop root phenotyping and soil organic carbon dynamics. During 2023-2024, Travis served as a Research Ambassador for the National Corn Growers Association.
